Auto‑renewal can be canceled at any time to prevent future charges. Canceling auto‑renewal does not end access immediately — the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

The cancellation steps depend on where the subscription was purchased.

Cancel a subscription purchased on the Surfshark website

Auto‑renewal can be canceled directly from the Surfshark account. Here's how:

Log in to the Surfshark account page.
Click the email address in the top‑right corner and select Subscription:
Open the Payments section and select Cancel auto‑renewal, then confirm:
Once completed, automatic payments will stop. The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

NOTE: If the option to cancel auto‑renewal is not visible, the subscription may have been purchased through an app store.
